There Is One God
God is the Creator of all things and the infinitely perfect Ruler of the universe. He eternally exists in three manifestations: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary and lived a sinless human life. He died on the cross, offering Himself as the perfect and final sacrifice for our sins. He arose from the dead after three days and ascended into Heaven, where he sits on the right hand of the Father and acts as our Advocate and High Priest. Someday, Jesus will return to earth to reign as King of kings and Lord of lords.
The Holy Spirit Is the Comforting, Guiding, Teaching, Convicting Spirit of God
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with God the Father and God the Son. He is present here on earth to convict people of sin and make them aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also dwells in every Christian from the moment of their salvation to provide them with the power to live and understand the truth of God's Word. The infilling or empowering of the Holy Spirit for ministry is active and still evidenced today by the spiritual gifts.
The Bible Is the Word of God
The Bible is God's Word to us. It was written by human beings under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of the truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it remains free of error.
You Are Made in the Image of God
All people —regardless of race or color—are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. Although we all have tremendous potential for good, we are tempted by a disobedient, ungodly attitude called "sin." Sin separates people from God and is the root of many of life's problems.
Salvation Is Free
Salvation is God's free gift to us, but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. We can only be saved by trusting in Jesus Christ. When we accept Christ, by yielding our lives to Him, through faith, we are saved and destined for heaven at the end of this life.
Heaven and Hell Are Real
People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or we will remain in the presence of God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.
